See Everything With Puerto Rico By GPS

Hi everybody.  Welcome to the Puerto Rico By GPS blog

In this first installment I’d like to show you around the site and tell you a little bit about our plans.  Puerto Rico By GPS is going to be a living, breathing site.  That means that it’s constantly going to be updated with new and wonderful places to visit.

Every time we add a new destination it’s going to first land on our blog, and then it is going to find its way to it’s own separate page under either the San Juan Metroplex menu or the “La Isla” menu.

Puerto Rico is comprised of 72 municipalities.  However, Puerto Ricans arbitrarily divide their island into two distinct areas: the San Juan Metroplex (“El Área Metropolitana) and “La Isla” (the rest of the Island).  The San Juan Metroplex includes: Old San Juan, San Juan, Carolina, Bayamón, Cataño, Trujillo Alto and Guaynabo.  The other 66 municipalities are simply “La Isla”.

In its present form Puerto Rico by GPS has close to 100 beautiful destinations for you to visit.  However, before you do, I invite you to watch the short video that tells you all about the site, how it’s structured and how to enjoy it to the fullest.

Oh, and one last thing.  Don’t for get to register.  Hit the button on the upper right, where it says “Join The Fun” and leave us you name, last name and email address  (this button didn’t exist when we recorded the video).  That way we’ll shoot you an email every time we visit a new and exciting destination.

Enjoy the site!
